The age of the dog is primarily determined by the condition of the teeth and the amount of gray hair on the head. It is clear that in appearance it is quite difficult to uniquely determine the age. In the same way, knowing how old the dog is, we cannot unambiguously determine the age of the dog in terms of human years.
